Overview
Job Responsibilities:
- Learning the existing code, coding and documentation standards and extending the core product components without breaking backwards compatibility and with adhering to coding/documentation standards.
- Design, development, unit testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products
- Help decide what, why, and how features are built
- Work closely with a small team to rapidly iterate toward the best possible solution
- Take charge of making key product decisions across the platform
- Own large product surface areas, not just features
- Communicate well with team members. Follow best practices, guidelines and blueprints for the team
- Have technical ownership of one or more modules and work with the leads, managers and architects in the delivery
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in software development with modern front-end frameworks
- Experience in Node.js and React for the front-end
- Initial Knowledge of PHP and its security standards
- Comfortable building products from scratch and scaling them
- Having experience with Databases (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL etc.)
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset, with the capacity to wear multiple hats
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
