Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices
• Implementing measures to safeguard users' data
• Ensuring that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the company's standards
• Create Mobile Application front end and backend integrations through coding
• Collaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order
• Liaising business owners to ensure to understand the requirements and provide solution design
• Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement
• Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release

Qualifications

• Degree in software development, computer science, or similar with 3-5 years of overall work experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, GIT, SDK, Json, REST / SOAP Web Services, HTML 5 and CSS
• Expertise in end to end Integration from front end to back end Java /J2EE, Node JS web services
• Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease
• Excellent coding skills and ability to translate business requirements into working solution
• Top-notch teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
• Experience with Web experience and Search related Knowledge
• Experience with (ex. Jira, Confluence,) and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong technical writing skills to produce design documents, functional specification documents
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
