We're in stealth, moving fast, and looking to bring on Android craftspersons who obsess over performance, polish, and product feel — foundational builders who will shape our mobile experience.

As an early Android engineer, you’ll work closely with our founding team to craft a best-in-class mobile experience. You’ll get to build expressive, fast, and touch-native interfaces from the ground up — obsessing over detail, speed, and feel.

• Build motion-rich, gesture-driven Android features using Kotlin
• Collaborate with design, backend, and product to bring new features to life
• Integrate chat, push notifications, and real-time experiences
• Prototype fast, iterate often, and polish relentlessly
• Grow into a technical owner with mentorship from senior engineers

• Have 2–5 years of experience building real-world Android apps in Kotlin with a focus on performance, UI polish, and responsiveness.
• Strong grasp of Jetpack components, Material Design, MVVM/Clean Architecture, and Coroutines/Flows.
• Solid understanding of networking (Retrofit/OkHttp), caching, memory management, and app security.
• Experience working with Firebase, Room, WebSockets, push notifications, and analytics SDKs.
• Love crafting animations, transitions, and custom gestures
• Have contributed to a B2C app at scale (100K+ DAUs), and understand the challenges of production-grade mobile development
• Are curious about how things work under the hood, from multi-threading, rendering and latency
• Have built or integrated at least one 0 —>1 feature from in-app chat, push notifications, real-time video/audio, and feed personalisation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product and design teams
