Job Overview:

An Azure Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Microsoft Azure services. The role typically involves working with big data tools, ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data warehousing solutions.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
• Build and maintain data lakes and warehouses using Azure Synapse or Azure Data Lake.
• Integrate and transform data from various sources.
• Optimize data storage and access for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure data security and compliance across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other Engineers.

3. Required Skills & Technologies:

• Azure Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks.
• Data Integration: ETL/ELT, Data ingestion from on-prem and cloud sources.
• Programming Languages: Python, SQL, Spark (PySpark).
• Data Modeling & Warehousing: Star/Snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling.
• Big Data Frameworks: Spark, Hive, Databricks (optional but preferred).
• DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git.
• Monitoring & Security: Role-based access control (RBAC), data encryption, monitoring/logging tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Azure Data Engineer: 4 years (Required)
• Databricks: 4 years (Required)
• Pyspark: 4 years (Required)
