Position Summary

Level: Consultant or equivalent

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

Seeking a Cloud Network Engineer with deep expertise in Azure, GCP, AWS networking components (VNets, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc.) and strong ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot these solutions. Must be skilled in infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM Templates, Terraform, Ansible, and in automation via PowerShell or cloud CLI. Requires knowledge of core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPNs) and applying these concepts in cloud and hybrid environments.

Experience with integrating on-premises networks using VPNs and hybrid solutions is necessary, along with familiarity in secure connectivity patterns, network administration, and ticketing tools like Service-Now. Should be able to configure switches, routers, and VLANs, and differentiate among network layers (Core, Distribution, Access, Edge).

Must understand ITIL/ITSM processes and possess advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), LAN/WAN technologies, and protocols like NTP, SNMP, Syslog, ACL, NAT, and authentication mechanisms. Hands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (NetFlow, SolarWinds, Nagios), DHCP/DNS management, Wireshark, debugging, automation (Python), Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, and SASE technologies is highly valued. Ability to configure and maintain F5 BIG-IP devices and implement security policies is required. Technical certifications (CCNA/CCNP) are a plus, as is experience with Microsoft Office and cost estimation

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Deep understanding of Azure/GCP/AWS Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Azure Firewall.
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot these components
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (ARM Templates, Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency in PowerShell or cloud CLI for automation.
• Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, NAT, and VPN technologies.
• Ability to apply traditional networking concepts in cloud environments
• Experience integrating on-premises networks with cloud using VPN and Hybrid Solution.
• Knowledge of hybrid architectures and secure connectivity patterns
• Experience in Network administration, troubleshooting, implementation, (add-on – planning, designing and architecture)
• Must know the difference between Core, Distribution, Access and edge network layer
• Experience in performing IOS L3/L2 VLAN configuration, complete configurations of switch and router from scratch,working with on-site engineer to take console of any network device. Minimum knowledge about MPLS configuration
• Hands-on experience with ticketing tools, specifically Service-Now.
• Knowledge about ITIL/ITSM processes like Incident, problem, change, task management.
• Working advance knowledge about Routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and most of the LAN protocols.
• Experience in any of the WAN technologies like MPLS, DMVPN, GRE IPSec Tunnels, SD-WAN
• Working experience with protocols like NTP, SNMP, Syslog, 802.11, 802.1x, AAA, ACL, NAT, TACACS, RADIUS, Port Security, Port mirroring
• Exposure to Enterprise composite network models like Datacenters architecture, branch or remote office architecture.
• Troubleshooting experience on network performance like, Bandwidth policing, Traffic shaping, Latency, Jitter, bandwidth utilizations
• Hands-on experience in managing monitoring tool, NetFlow /bandwidth analyzation tools, (add-on – Cisco Prime Infra, Nagios, Ops Manager (NetFlow, CMDB, backup management), SolarWinds Orion)
• Hands-on experience in managing and administering DHCP and DNS services (either on Windows or Infoblox), SFTP/TFTP.
• Added experience with tools like Wireshark, Debugging, EEM, Python, Automation, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN (Viptela, Velocloud, or any), SASE technologies.
• Configure and maintain F5 BIG-IP devices (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM modules)
• Implement security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention features
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts
• Any technical training completed like CCNA, CCNP,
• Ability to perform estimation of work products and cost analysis
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
