Job Description
This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the following technologies: Standards and protocols, application software and embedded software for wireless and satellite networks, fixed networks and enterprise networks; connected devices (IOT and device engineering), connected applications (5G/ edge, B2X apps); and Telco Cloud, Automation and Edge Compute platforms. This role also involves the integration of network systems and their operations, related to the above technologies.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Connectivity & Network Engineer with hands-on experience in WLAN testing . The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating wireless network performance, ensuring seamless connectivity, and supporting the development and deployment of WiFi solutions across enterprise and consumer environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform WLAN testing including functional, performance, interoperability, and regression testing.
- Validate wireless protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct RF testing , signal strength analysis, and throughput measurements.
- Analyze logs and debug connectivity issues across various platforms (Windows, Android, iOS).
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test plans and test cases.
- Use tools such as Wireshark , IxChariot , AirMagnet , or Ekahau for network analysis.
- Document test results, defects, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Required Skills:
- 2–6 years of experience in WLAN/WiFi testing or network validation .
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
- Experience with wireless access points , routers , and network controllers .
- Familiarity with network testing tools and packet analysis .
- Good scripting knowledge (Python or Shell) for test automation is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CWNA , CCNA , or CompTIA Network+ .
- Exposure to IoT device testing and smart connectivity solutions .
- Experience with Linux-based systems and embedded networking .
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics , Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or training in networking and wireless technologies are a plus.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
