Resourcedekho is hiring for a leading client in the agentic AI-based finance automation space. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Data Engineer to join a high-impact team in Hyderabad.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data from diverse sources.
• Implement and maintain ETL workflows using tools like Debezium, Kafka, Airflow, Jenkins.
• Develop and optimize SQL/NoSQL schemas, queries, and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval.
• Work with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DocumentDB) databases.
• Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions for analytics and ML applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to prepare data for AI/ML models.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, and alerting for accuracy and reliability.
• Optimize query performance through indexing, partitioning, and query refactoring.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, pipelines, and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest in data engineering tech and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on expertise with MongoDB (or AWS DocumentDB)—mandatory.
• Proven experience designing and optimizing ETL processes (Kafka, Debezium, Airflow, etc.).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with AWS data services (RDS, Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis, ELK stack).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Node.js, Java).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• SaaS product experience is a must.
• Preference for candidates from reputed colleges (IIT/IIM or similar) and with stable career history.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune).
• Knowledge of big data tech (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, data lakes).
• Real-time/streaming data processing.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, Docker, Kubernetes.
• FinTech or financial back-office domain experience.
• Startup/high-growth environment exposure.
