What You’ll Build
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with strong database background, DevOps Tools, and AI/ML expertise to design and develop innovative automation solutions, intelligent systems, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud environments, database technologies, orchestration tools, and modern web frameworks.
SAP SuccessFactors (HCM) – Database Cloud Operations Team, we manage large-scale databases across multiple platforms (SAP HANA, MSSQL, MySQL) and provide seamless support to customers from delivery centres globally. As a team, we continuously explore the latest technologies and integrate them into our workflows to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and business value.

What You’ll Build
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with strong database background, DevOps Tools, and AI/ML expertise to design and develop innovative automation solutions, intelligent systems, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud environments, database technologies, orchestration tools, and modern web frameworks.
- Manage databases (SAP HANA, MySQL, MSSQL) including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations
- Implement database backup and recovery solutions
- Exposure in database programming concepts
- Support large scale customer Databases on their data management requests
- Develop automation and orchestration solutions leveraging tools such as Rundeck or Jenkins.
- Integrate systems and workflows into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines, ensuring secure and seamless delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
- Build and optimize front-end user interfaces using Node.js, Bootstrap, or Angular.
- Participate and take ownership of projects, proof-of-concepts (PoC’s), and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy AI/ML and LLM-based models into production workflows.
- Contribute to cloud-native solution development, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost optimization across platforms.
- Write robust, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high-quality software delivery
- Strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Shell or Go.
- 2+ year od Hands-on experience with Linux systems and database administration or integration (SAP HANA, MySQL, MSSQL).
- In-depth understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience building or managing orchestration frameworks such as Rundeck or Jenkins.
- Front-end development experience with modern frameworks like Node.js, Bootstrap, or Angular.
- Project-level expertise in AI/ML or LLM model development, deployment, or integration.
- Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently or as part of a global team.
- Excellent communication, documentation and collaboration abilities.
