About the Role:

We are looking for a results-oriented DevOps Engineer who understands infrastructure as code, containerization, automation, and server/network security. You will work closely with our backend, frontend, and AI teams to deploy, monitor, and manage cloud-based and self-hosted applications in a fast-paced startup environment.

This role is not remote – we expect you to work from our Nashik office with flexible timings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and manage self-hosted and cloud-based Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian)
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Laravel, NestJS, and React-based applications
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Docker, Docker Compose (bonus: Ansible/Terraform)
• Deploy and manage Traefik/Nginx-based reverse proxy setups with Let’s Encrypt SSL
• Handle dynamic DNS setups (DuckDNS, Cloudflare, etc.) and network routing (e.g., TP-Link ER605)
• Monitor application health using Netdata/Prometheus/Grafana
• Implement security best practices: SSH key management, firewalls, backups, and disaster recovery
• Optimize system resources and performance for apps with high concurrency or AI/ML models
• Manage container orchestration (Docker Swarm or Kubernetes in future)
• Assist developers with GitHub-based deployments, environment variables, and database migrations

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of Linux server administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools
• Working knowledge of web servers and reverse proxies (Traefik/Nginx)
• Familiarity with Laravel, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and React deployment lifecycle
• Experience with domain mapping, DNS, and HTTPS setup
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Bash, Python optional)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and log management

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):

• Experience with self-hosted AI/ML infrastructure (Mixtral, OpenLLM, etc.)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (for future scaling)
• Experience with open-source tools like Vikunja, Tailscale, Netdata
• Past experience managing servers in a multi-app startup environment
• Understanding of edge cases in dynamic IP environments
