Full Stack Developer

Overview

Festivals from India is hiring for their client ASIGN a talented Full Stack Developer with 3-5 years of experience in web development, specializing in React.js and Node.js. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both frontend and backend technologies, with a focus on creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining various components of our web platform, ensuring seamless functionality and an excellent user experience.

We have built ASIGN for artists, creators, collectors and businesses to do everything they want to do—all in one place!

Please note:

• The vetting process for this role comprises 2-3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.
• Festivals from India is hiring for this role on behalf of ASIGN.
• This is an on-site, full-time position based in Chennai.
• Salary band for this role is available upon request.

Essential Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in React JS with a solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and hooks.
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3, with a focus on creating responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming and event handling.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with build tools like Webpack, Babel, etc., for optimizing and managing front-end assets.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for deploying and managing web applications.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, for automated testing and deployment.
• Basic knowledge of security best practices in web development.
