Full Stack Developer (SDE II)

Terra is a gaming tech company building for the next generation. Our consumer gaming platform already serves 500,000+ Gen Z users and is growing. Now we’re re-imaginging game creation from the ground up—AI-first.

About the Role:
Be the part of the core tech team to build a truly revolutionary AI core entertainment platform. The focus of this role is to help build a robust BE architecture and tools, that can support an ultra agile AI framework of working on cutting edge products.

Responsibilities:

• Become part of the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Interact with the backend team to ensure the overall architecture design aligns with product requirements and scalability.
• Collaborate with the product team to build user-focused solutions and continuously improve user experience.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Develop, test, and deploy features in agile sprints, ensuring timely delivery.
• Stay updated with industry trends and tools, adopting best practices for full stack development.
• Advocate for and implement security best practices across the stack.
• Guide and mentor junior developers in the team
• End-to-end tech ownership.

What You Bring to the Tech Team:

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including React.js, Flutter, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in back-end development using Node.js and experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Firestore) databases.
• Decent knowledge and experience of AI tools for coding and product development
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Deep understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Experience working on cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Babel, or Vite).
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
• Exposure to serverless architecture and microservices.
