Job Description: Desktop Support Engineer

Company: Spacewood Office Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Work Location: Butibori, Nagpur
Work Mode: Onsite
Experience: 1-2 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and system updates.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain service logs.
• Diagnose and resolve OS, application, and connectivity issues.
• Assist in setting up new workstations and upgrading existing systems.
• Perform regular system maintenance, backups, and security updates.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
• Support IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN setups.
• Train employees on IT best practices and cybersecurity guidelines.

Education:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL will be an added advantage.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and remote desktop tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
