Java Developer with Azure and React.js

Overview

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java + Azure Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications and services, integrating them into our existing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Build and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure platform using Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Develop APIs and backend services to support scalable cloud applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement security and data protection best practices within Azure environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in cloud environments.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline setup using Azure DevOps.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and Java frameworks to enhance application performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (optional but preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and best practices in Azure.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with serverless computing on Azure.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, Kafka).
• Exposure to front-end technologies like Angular or React is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
