CloudDefense.AI is looking for a talented and passionate Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is perfect for an experienced developer who enjoys building secure, scalable applications and wants exposure to the rapidly evolving world of Cloud Security and DevSecOps.

You'll collaborate closely with our innovative tech teams to build, enhance, and maintain cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions used globally by leading enterprises, including Columbia University, GE, and Tata Group.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Develop robust, secure, and scalable backend applications using Java and Micronaut.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for CloudDefense.AI’s security solutions.
• Work closely with PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Containerize and deploy applications efficiently using Docker.
• Collaborate actively with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver seamless software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Proactively contribute ideas to continuously improve our development processes and cloud security solutions.
  
  

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Solid expertise with Micronaut and Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
• Deep knowledge of SQL with extensive experience using PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience using Docker for containerization.
• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (both verbal and written).

• Strong background in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Operating Systems, or Networking.

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux administration.
• Knowledge of additional languages such as Python, Go, or C++.
