Lead Data Engineer – Healthcare Domain Specialist

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer – Healthcare Domain Specialist to design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures supporting BI, analytics, and machine learning initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring data governance, compliance, and optimizing data processing capabilities across platforms.

Years of Experience

• 7 to 10 years of overall experience in Data Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare domain

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale data architectures.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers for seamless data integration.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure data reliability and scalability.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• Mentor junior engineers, promoting continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain system performance.
• Keep abreast of emerging data technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Handle daily task management, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

Additional Candidate Preferences

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), wearable devices, and sensor data.
• Prior experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare data compliance.

Salary & Perks
