Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) - API Gateway

Overview

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our high-impact Shared Platform team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work with our shared platform team that powers 500+ APIs and handles 60M+ requests daily, enabling seamless data delivery and real-time notifications for global customers. You’ll work on cutting-edge API management solutions, integrating cloud-native architecture, security protocols, and intelligent systems.

About You

• Must have minimum 5 years of overall software engineering experience.
• Must have minimum 4 years of experience in API Gateway (preferably Kong)
• Must have minimum 3 years of experience with AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, Lambda)
• Must be strong in Angular, TypeScript & experience with PostgreSQL.
• Should be a Bachelor’s degree graduate in computer science or related field.
  
  

• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts
  
  

• Design and implement secure, scalable API Gateway solutions using Kong
• Define and enforce API standards, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
• Build multi-channel notification systems (email, in-app) with real-time delivery
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting for all services
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and observability across systems

Hours of Work

Full-time | Regular shift (10 AM – 7 PM IST)
