Network Engineer

Overview

Knowledge and experience in telecom SBC(Mandatory)

● Lead the design of highly available large-scale telephony networks, driving them from concept to launch

● Work closely with our software developers to fully automate network deployment and operations

● Drive operational excellence projects to improve network performance and reliability

● Enforce and strengthen security levels of the data centers.

● Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions

● Dive Deep into the high severity of incidents, recommend preventative solutions, and participate in root cause analysis

● Partner with our broader Technical operations organization to reduce operational burden

● Support in organizational transformation from reactive to proactive with a focus on predictiveness

● Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes

● Drive standards across the network and ensure that we are fully compliant to those standards and policies

● Participate in hiring and developing the best

● Help enforce and/or tweak SLAs for existing deployments to improve efficiency

● Stakeholder management

Must-haves

● 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor / Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

● Knowledge and experience with LAN/WAN/SD-WAN infrastructure

● Knowledge and experience in telecom SBC

● Knowledge and experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: SIP, WEBRTC, TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS

● Knowledge and experience with network security and various secured VPN technologies

● Knowledge and experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos

● Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment, DNS and DHCP

● Experience in various network monitoring tools

● Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming

● Knowledge of various end-user devices and their network interactions

● Proficiency in configuring and managing networking devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, SBC

● Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis

● A "DevOps" mindset. You own what you will develop.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a head for problem-solving.

● Team-player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

● Strong project management skills, issue prio

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
