Job Duties & responsibilities

1. Network monitoring via Network monitoring tools owned
2. Network devices addition/deletion in Network monitoring systems & tool (NMS)
3. Internal ticket logging and resolving tickets received to Network team for various incidents.
4. Coordinate with external vendors for links (service providers)
5. Logging calls and raising TAC cases with Network vendors for hardware issues
6. Follow up and closure of tickets raised in internal systems
7. Raising Change request for internal changes and preparing standard Implementation Plans.
8. Monthly, weekly Network and Network security devices back up manually and via Tools.
9. Weekly, Monthly Network capacity reports preparation using reports dump from NMS
10. Daily report preparation on core network status and publish to internal stake holders over email.
11. Maintaining Network SLA report for Links and TAC Calls
12. Participation in Monthly review with network vendors and service providers, Validation of SLA reports.
13. Checking logs on devices for errors/alerts received in NMS, Taking corrective actions for alerts
14. Understanding & hands on Infoblox, Configuration of grid, managing DHCP services.
15. Deep understanding & hands on Network protocols (OSFP, BGP, ISIS, PAGP, LACP)
16. Understanding & Hands on VPN tunnels (GRE / IP Sec)
17. Good understanding & hands on switching protocols configurations and troubleshooting VLAN (L2/L3),
18. VTP, STP, Stacking, Ethernet channel.
19. Deep Understanding & hands on security products and firewalls checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5, WAF
20. Understanding & hands on WAF,Node, Pool Member, Virtual Server Creation, SSLOffloading, Version upgrade.
21. Understanding & hands on Checkpoint & palo alto Firewalls, SSL VPN, IPSEC VPN, Access rule and NAT configuration, IPS Policy fine-tuning End Point Security – Sandblast deployment, L3 VLAN Creation, Log review.
22. Understanding & hands on Forcepoint, Policy Creation, URL enablement, Policy review
23. Understanding & hands on Web DLP, Policy Creation, Reduction of false- positives by validating the alerts
24. Responsible for Configuration, Installation and troubleshooting of network devices in Data Center and branches.
25. Upgrade IOS or code of router and switches and firewalls.
26. Implements changes to Network infrastructure hardware in order to correct errors or enhance functionality
27. Administration experience in Cisco ISE, policy creation, posture &Tshoot hands on, Cisco wireless infrastructure & Sponsor portal.
