Network/NSX IT Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineers with expertise in NSX implementation and migration executions. Kindly supply us with profiles on urgent requirements.

In this role, work closely with architecture and operations team on some of HCL's largest and most strategic customer engagements to build new Azure landing zone(s), perform migrations, implement POC solutions.

• Experience - A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in an engineering/operations role with a VMware exposure.
• Location – Offshore( Anywhere in India)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x7x365 global support delivery team. Combine technical expertise and customer requirements to solve complex business challenges.
• Ability to quickly identify customer issues to existing network.
• Work with Architects to deliver solutions and deploy new capabilities in customer environment.
• Analyse and eliminate top issues impacting customer experience.
• Build automation to solve customer problems and develop scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities.
• Create documentation (SOP's & TSG's) to help L1/L2 teams to support operations.
• Work on critical, highly complex customer scenarios that span across multiple Azure services
• Act as a technical escalation point within the team
• Work with architecture team on process improvement and strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a technical position and a minimum of 2 years of experience as an NSX-T
• Extensive hands-on experience on NSX-T DFW, Routing and Switching
• Strong hands-on experience on Transformation (Migration) life cycle and expertise on NSX-T
• Expertise with the routing protocols and load balancers.
• Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for customers and focus on delivering the right customer experience.
• Ability to manage large projects related to Network Infrastructure.
• In depth understanding of network security infrastructure.
• Familiarity with tunnelling protocols (VXLAN, GRE etc)
• Work with various BU’s for successful execution of projects

Primary Skill: NSX-T, DFW, Routing and switching

Secondary Skill: VRNI and AVI NSX Advanced Load Balancer

Mandatory Certification: CCNA/VCP

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
