PHP Developer (Laravel / CodeIgniter) – 3 to 5 Years + Team Handling

Overview

Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled PHP Developer with solid experience in Laravel, CodeIgniter, MySQL, and core frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). This role involves leading development projects end to end, along with mentoring and guiding a small team (2–3 members). You’ll be responsible for writing clean code, managing timelines, collaborating with design, and delivering production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and CodeIgniter
• Lead a team of 2–3 developers and ensure timely delivery of project modules
• Guide junior developers, review their code, and provide mentorship
• Write clean, efficient PHP code and optimized MySQL queries
• Build frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work closely with UI/UX designers and project stakeholders
• Integrate APIs and third-party services
• Ensure proper documentation and testing for stable releases

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel and CodeIgniter
• Good understanding of MySQL database structure and performance
• Experience building frontend UI with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and MVC architecture
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Prior experience managing or mentoring junior developers

Good to Have (Optional):

• Experience with jQuery, AJAX, Vue.js
• Exposure to JWT or OAuth-based API authentication
• Deployment knowledge on cPanel or cloud platforms

Eligibility:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in full-stack development
• Prior team leadership experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
