Overview
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance Java applications.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and production support teams to ensure system stability and scalability.
- Apply strong knowledge of Core Java, multithreading, exception handling, collections, and design patterns.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Engage in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Handle support responsibilities and ensure incident resolution within defined SLAs.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for SQL Server and other relational databases.
- Work in a Linux environment for deployment and operations support.
- Follow Agile development practices and participate in all Agile ceremonies.
- Use issue-tracking and documentation tools like JIRA and Confluence required :
- Experience as a Java Developer
- Hands on experience in Core java, Multi-threading, Design patterns, Exception handling and collections primarily.
- Work closely with the multiple development and production support teams
- Hands on experience Databases like SQL Server
- Hands on experience in Linux operating system
- Has experience with issue-tracking and agile
- Knowledge of any two process tools such as Jira, Confluence etc
- Good communication interpersonal required :
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Application development and support
- Strong knowledge in the investment banking / Trading domain.
- Deep understanding of Databases.
