Senior DevOps Engineer

We are expanding our Bengaluru-based team to help our transition from a services-based model toward a scalable product and platform-driven organization. You'll collaborate with a global engineering team across time zones to build scalable systems that power critical healthcare insights. We are an established but fast-growing business – powered by innovation, data, and technology. Konovo's capabilities are delivered through our cloud-based platform, enabling customers to collect data from healthcare professionals and transform it into actionable insights using cutting-edge AI combined with proven market research tools and techniques.

As Senior DevOps Engineer your work will help scale and maintain our software development process and cloud infrastructure. You'll work on improving reliability, automation, and performance and collaborate closely with software, QA, and infrastructure teams to continuously improve our platform that supports decision-making in healthcare.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, reliable deployments.
• Collaborate across teams to identify and implement automation and performance improvements.
• Help improve observability and monitoring for faster detection and resolution of issues.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with peers through documentation, reviews, and mentorship.
• Contribute to security best practices and cost-efficiency across cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize our database environments (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, OpenSearch).
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
• Experience with AWS (or similar cloud platforms).
• Experience collaborating within a distributed, cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Comfortable writing scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Understanding of containers (Docker) and orchestration tools (ECS, EKS, or similar).
• Strong team collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., NewRelic, CloudWatch, Papertrail).
• Experience monitoring and managing databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB).

• Experience supporting or mentoring team members.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001).
• Experience with applications in Scala, Java, or Node.js environments.
