Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

Technical Skills:

Minimum 5+ years of experience is required as a DevOps Engineer.

Container Orchestration:

· Proficiency in Kubernetes architecture, including pods, services, deployments, and stateful sets.

· Experience with OpenShift for managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.

· Ability to design and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.

· CI/CD and Automation:

· Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and OpenShift Pipelines.

· Working experience in JFrog/Nexus, Helm, ELK, Kafka, and Redis.

· Automation of software delivery processes, including infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Monitoring, Logging, and Observability:

· Implementation and management of monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana and logging systems like ELK stack.

· Proficiency in observability tools to ensure system health and performance.

· Security:

· Understanding of security best practices in containerized environments, including vulnerability scanning and access controls.

· Experience with managing secrets and implementing security contexts within Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Scripting and Automation:

· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.

· Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack.

Networking and Service Mesh:

· Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, service mesh (e.g., Istio), and ingress controllers.
