Overview

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Coimbatore
Job Type: Fulltime
Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure and on-premises environments.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (or ECS/Nomad), Helm charts, and related orchestration tools.
• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.).
• Lead incident response, perform postmortems, and promote Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical leadership to the team.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to improve build, test, and release workflows.
• Monitor cloud usage and optimize costs for maximum efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure a plus).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong skills in monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, and firewalls.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with software systems integration and workflow automation is desirable.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with additional config management tools (Chef, Puppet).
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments.
• Basic experience with cost tracking and forecasting tools.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in infrastructure and automation projects.
