Senior Manager (Backend Develepment)- AI Products & Solutions

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Engineering Lead to spearhead the development and delivery of cutting-edge software products with a strong focus on AI/ML, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and end-to-end product lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software architecture, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record in launching scalable products in high-growth tech environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle product development – from concept, design, development to launch and post-launch support.
• Architect and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure AI-driven software solutions on AWS Cloud.
• Mentor and manage a high-performing engineering team with a focus on code quality, agile delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to define technical roadmaps, prioritize features, and align on go-to-market strategy.
• Optimize system performance, data pipelines, and architecture for AI/ML workloads.
• Ensure DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code are in place.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Data Science, Design, and QA teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
• Proven experience in product development & successful product launches in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture and AWS services – EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SageMaker, etc.
• Proficiency in modern backend/front-end tech stacks – Node.js, Python, Java, React, Angular, etc.
• Strong understanding of microservices, API development, and security best practices.
• Solid understanding of backend development technologies, including RESTful API design, server-side programming, and database integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action and experimentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Prior experience in AI product development lifecycle.
