The Team

This is an exciting role within the Workplace Investing (WI) Solutions Office team. Our team delivers innovative digital solutions to engage and service our customers, while growing the business with reduced risk. Our dynamic and timely solutions provide full-scale experiences that simplify business for associates, clients, and advisors.

Using agile techniques, a “Good/Better/Best” approach, and domain expertise to rapidly engineer and automate business processes, we deliver outstanding outcomes across a broad range of partners, services and products across Workplace Investing.

The Skills And Expertise We Are Looking For

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering
• Experience in Data Virtualization tools: Denodo (preferred) or Tibco Data Virtualization (TDV)
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle)
• Proficient in database languages: SQL, PSQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL
• Experience in ETL/ELT tools
• Experience with GitHub
• Exposure with Enterprise Data Lake e.g. Snowflake
• Good experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience of Cloud technologies and automated deployments
• Ability to analyze business direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing technical solutions.
• Experience in performance optimization techniques and tools, ensuring efficient and effective system operations
• Experience designing complex data solutions to solve key technical challenges.
• An innovative mindset committed to automating and streamlining manual processes.
• Ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles.
• Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools
• Can collaborate well with the Business, your team members, work independently, and influence your technology peers.
