You will work on writing and optimizing SQL queries, supporting data integration, and ensuring the integrity and performance of our databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, test, and maintain SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- Assist in database design, development, and maintenance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot SQL-related issues and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with development, data, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Optimize existing queries for performance improvements.
- Document processes and maintain database documentation.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Basic knowledge of SQL SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE.
- Understanding of database normalization and indexing concepts.
- Ability to analyze problems and write efficient, readable SQL code.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
