Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – Healthcare/EMR Domain
Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Noida / Gurgaon / (India)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in healthcare data analytics, electronic medical records (EMR), and data modeling. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in Advanced SQL (including complex queries using CTE, RANK, PARTITION), data quality, and delivering actionable insights from large and complex datasets. Experience in the healthcare domain is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and transform healthcare/EMR datasets into meaningful insights.
- Design and implement data models, both logical and physical, to support analytics initiatives.
- Work extensively with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS to write optimized and complex queries using CTE, RANK(), PARTITION BY, Window Functions, etc.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, perform ETL operations, and support data integration tasks.
- Perform root cause analysis on data integrity and quality issues.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Document data processes, models, and business logic for transparency and reproducibility.
- Support compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data regulations.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Strong command of Advanced SQL: CTEs, RANK, DENSE_RANK, ROW_NUMBER, PARTITION BY, CASE, etc.
- Experience with EMR/EHR data systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts).
- Deep knowledge of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schema, normalization).
- Experience with large data sets and performance tuning of SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exposure to HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- Certification in data analytics, healthcare informatics, or EMR platforms (e.g., Epic-certified analyst).
- Experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
