Job Role
- As a Senior System Test Engineer, you will interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
- Design and create test conditions, procedures, methods & tools/scripts for verification/validation of the company's products addressing all test scenarios. Leverage the use of existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function.
- Develop automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing. Technical leadership for the test program, including test approach. Stays current on latest test methodologies and tools and transferring this knowledge to test team
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for Wi-Fi functionalities in embedded products. The role requires a strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards, networking protocols, embedded systems, and test automation.
Required Competencies
- Solid understanding of Software/Firmware Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of Test Life Cycle
- Experience in performing Embedded Devices Testing, Firmware Testing, System testing
- Experience in working with Software-Hardware integration Testing
- Experience in Manual Testing
- Experience in Wireless Networking Protocols/Security Protocols (WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA3)
- Experience in Wireless Standards (802.11)
- Experience in IOT Protocols (Matter, Thread, Zibgee, Zwave)
- Experience in any Scripting languages like Perl, Python, etc. would be added advantage
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Experience with usage of any Test frameworks
- Experience in System level Issue debugging skills.
- Must demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines as required
- Able to work independently, manage multiple projects to completion on schedule in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Duties and responsibilities
- Expected to work under own initiative, prioritize own work, and meet agreed timescales.
- Capable of creating Test Cases and executing them independently with little to no supervision from other team members.
- Flexible in supporting multiple projects based on Priority
- Documentation of Product knowledge based on expertise
- Ability to collaborate and work within team and Cross Functional Teams.
- Ability to solve problems and work with others to resolve problems.

Qualification
- Any engineering bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science
- 5+ years of relevant experience in System testing for the embedded domain
