- In this role, you'll be joining our Primary Markets Systems team within the Capital Markets Division as a Technical Business Analyst.
- We are looking for a great communicator who can work with our business and technical experts to help shape the future of our products and services.
- As part of the team, you will work to understand product requirements and describe these to the software engineers.
- The team is being set up now, so it will be essential to help the team establish sound agile practices.
- 5+ years’ Business Analysis experience.
- 5+ years’ demonstrated ability of maintaining a balanced backlog of user requirements.
- Experience in Scrum / Agile methodology, working in a scrum team gathering and writing user stories /requirements and defining acceptance criteria.
- Ability to gather business requirements and represent them in a concise and professional manner
- Excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels withing the organisation.
- Excellent written communication skills - both technical and non-technical.
- Excellent problem solving, analysis, research, and process mapping skills.
- Product focused - dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of both your internal and external customers.
- Positive approach to learning new skills and technologies.
- Determined, goal-oriented teammate with good communication skills.
- Understanding of data and awareness of data modelling.
- Experience in delivering solutions in a dynamic friendly and fast-paced environment.
- Understands the principles of usability and helps ensure the software is fit for purpose.
- Dedication to continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Experience in AWS, Azure and / or other Cloud Computing platform is a plus.
- Professional qualification or equivalent.
- Technical/Numerical degree (Desirable).
- Be the main point of contact with Product Owners to elicit, analyse, and validate sophisticated business requirements for the software we’re building.
- Document and translate these business requirements into a detailed user story backlog in JIRA for our development teams, with supporting content in confluence, whilst adhering to LSEG standards and controls.
- Being accountable for a quality the requirement backlog through activities such as backlog refinement, requirement discovery and prioritisation.
- Collaboration with agile teams to ensure scrum velocity is maintained and blockers removed.
- Taking pride in the quality of your work, ensuring it’s delivered within agreed procedures and timeframes.
- Ability to work with several Product Managers, partners to capture requirements.
- Help to coordinate the team and break down work to deliver requirements from different partners on time with a good quality.
