UI Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented UI Developer to join our dynamic IT team. As a UI Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces that deliver a seamless and visually appealing experience for our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality and responsive UI designs that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• UI Design and Development:
• Transform wireframes, mockups, and visual designs into responsive and interactive web applications.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure design consistency by following UI/UX design guidelines and best practices.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and server-side logic.
• Performance Optimization:
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Identify and fix UI/UX-related issues to improve performance and usability.
• Testing and Debugging:
• Perform unit testing of UI components and fix any bugs or performance issues.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness on various devices.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Suggest and implement enhancements to improve user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries like React, Angular
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and tools like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON for data handling.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of UI testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Jest, Cypress).
• Preferred Skills (Optional)
• Basic understanding of .Net, node.js, Azure cloud
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

• Type: Full-time, hybrid/onsite/remote (customize as per company policy).
• Tools Provided: High-performance systems and licenses for development tools.
• Location: KOLKATA.
