Description

Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven project experience in software engineering
• Professional experience as an embedded middleware developer
• Solid experience with C and good understanding of modern C++ (v17 standard)
• Knowledge of CMake and Python
• Expert in developing software for embedded Linux systems
• Experience with git, Github, and Gerrit
• Experience with Agile SCRUM or Kanban and Jira
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience SW development for the automotive industry
• Experience with DLT tool/deamon and QT
• Experience with Yocto, QNX, Gtest, Gmock, Zuul, bazel
• Some experience with Android NDK
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

We are committed to modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.As part of our dynamic and agile team, you will ensure robustness, performance, and security aspects within the software design.

You will be working in a modern development environment with tools such as C and some C++14/17, Yocto Linux, CMake, Git/GitHub EE, etc.

• Contribute to the design and development of new features and services
• Participate in the analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of SW issues
• Maintain and enhance the existing codebase and platform
• Test and validate functionality using simulations, stubs, and real hardware

• Support management with selected, development specific tasks
