Overview
Designation: .NET Full Stack Developer (ELN Development) – Biovia suite of scientific software applications
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in .Net (C#) full stack development, demonstrating strong backend and frontend development capabilities. In addition, the candidate must possess good experience in IronPython or Python scripting, with a proven ability to build automation scripts and customize functionalities. A solid background in integrating applications using REST and SOAP APIs is essential. Exposure to Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) development and familiarity with ELN SDKs will be considered a significant advantage.
Work Timing: US (PST) Hours (Work schedule can be split into 4 hours PM (IST) and 4 hours AM (PST) working hours once KT (Knowledge Transfer) days are completed for new Joiners - depending on daylight saving)

Job Role: We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Developer to support the development and integration of Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) systems at Gilead Sciences. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in .NET and C#, complemented by scripting expertise in IronPython/Python, and a solid understanding of API integrations. Experience or familiarity with ELN platforms and SDKs is desirable. The role involves collaborating with scientific stakeholders, application analysts, and validation teams to develop scalable, secure, and high-performing lab applications aligned with GxP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications for ELN integrations
- Implement custom scripts using IronPython/Python to enhance ELN functionality
- Develop and manage API interfaces between ELN and external enterprise systems
- Collaborate with scientific users to understand lab workflows and requirements
- Contribute to the development of ELN templates, forms, and automation scripts
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with GxP and computer system validation (CSV) standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments
- Work with cross-functional teams including IT, Quality, and Scientific Informatics
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET
- Proficiency in IronPython or Python scripting
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS (for front-end tasks)
- Exposure to SQL Server or other RDBMS
- Experience with source control systems like Git or Azure DevOps
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of ELN systems (e.g., BIOVIA Notebook, IDBS, Labware).
- Familiarity with ELN SDK and lab-specific data workflows
- Experience working in regulated environments with GxP/CSV compliance
- Understanding of laboratory informatics and scientific data management
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
