About the Role (Senior GCP Data Engineer - Talend):

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Talend, GCP BigQuery, and Microsoft Azure to design and optimize scalable data pipelines for a cloud-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend.

Design and optimize cloud data solutions on GCP BigQuery and Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics.

Implement data governance, security, and best practices.

Automate workflows using Python/Shell scripting and CI/CD practices.

Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

Expert SQL (query optimization, indexing, partitioning)

Talend (ETL/ELT development)

GCP BigQuery

Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL / Synapse)

Python or Shell scripting

Git & CI/CD

Strong data modeling (relational & dimensional)

Nice to Have:

Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory

Kafka / Pub/Sub / Event Hubs

GCP or Azure Certification
