Job Title: 1UL R&D Data Analyst and Ops Specialist

Location: Bangalore

Reporting To: 1UL Data, Digital & Ops Lead (Priscilla Subramoney)

Introduction

With the latest evolution of Unilever’s operating model, with business groups focusing on their top 25 countries, the One Unilever (1UL) Markets cluster organisation has been created to manage the rest of the markets Unilever operates in around the globe. The role of the One Unilever Markets clusters is to deploy the business group strategies into these markets, with speed and agility in line with the size and scale of the business in each market cluster. The One Unilever markets cluster will have its own, standalone, R&D organisation set up with the category & functional expertise across the markets to enable the deployment of innovation, 5S, UBS and sustainability programs defined and agreed between each business group president and the One Unilever Markets cluster head.

Key Tasks

• Preparing complex data analyses for the 1UL R&D Leadership Team
• Communicating results of ingredients, sales, and data analyses to cross-functional groups (R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, etc.)
• Supporting the 1UL Data and Digital Team with category-related tasks such as budget, KPIs, USLP footprint, etc.
• Using data handling skills to maintain and develop our Data Office reporting environment.
• Partnering with 1UL Market R&D teams to identify data and analytics upskilling opportunities and support with training as appropriate
• Supporting and delivering the 1UL R&D Digital Transformation Programme
• Participating and/or leading agile Teams/Squads in scoping Projects & framing the problems to be solved through Data & Digital
• Identifying workflows for Standardization, Automation and Digitization.
• Leading the 1UL Digital Transformation Network Meetings.
• Creating Data & Digital Training programs for 1UL.
  
  

Specific Skills And Education

• High SAP PLM and Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP’s, etc.)
• Data manipulation experience (e.g., Excel, Power BI, PowerApps, Alteryx, ideally Python)
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau)
• Previous R&D Experience will be an advantage.
• Science/Engineering/Mathematical degree preferred, especially if linked with some business-related modules.
