JOB OBJECTIVES: SUMMARY OF OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
This role will be responsible for designing and managing an organization data architecture creating a representation of data proficient in Microsoft technology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data warehouse architecture to support our organization’s analytical needs and business objectives.

F: Day-to-day operations:
Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions using Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
Develop and maintain data integration processes, including ETL/ELT workflows, to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse.
Optimize data warehouse performance by tuning queries, indexing strategies, and data partitioning techniques.
Implement data governance and security measures to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data warehouse best practices, design principles, and Microsoft technologies.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data warehouse architecture and Microsoft technology stack.

KEY COMPETENCIES
A: Language skills:
Must be fluent in English.
Knowledge of additional languages are added advantage
Very good knowledge in technical terms and report writing skills.
B: Technical competencies:
Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or similar role, designing and implementing data warehouse solutions on Microsoft technology stack.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, and performance optimization techniques.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, dimensional modeling techniques, and Kimball methodology.
Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certification in Microsoft Azure or related technologies is a plus.

Having experience and knowledge in Design and implement robust and scalable data warehouse.
Microsoft certifications related
Experience
8 to 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, ETL & Data Warehouse Technologies.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics , related tools.
