Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PowerApps Business Analyst to join our Business Transformation Solutions team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into functional specifications for PowerApps solutions. You will bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring that the Power Platform applications align with business needs while adhering to governance, security, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for PowerApps applications and processes.
Conduct detailed process mapping and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and automation using PowerApps and Power Automate.
Define functional specifications and user stories for PowerApps solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Work closely with PowerApps developers and system administrators to ensure the successful delivery of business requirements into scalable applications.
Facilitate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the applications meet business needs and quality standards.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring a smooth adoption of the developed solutions.
Assist in managing and documenting the application lifecycle, including changes, updates, and enhancements.
Analyze and recommend continuous improvements to processes and PowerApps solutions to enhance productivity and user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and digital transformation strategies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on PowerApps or Microsoft Power Platform.
Strong knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing functional specifications.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong understanding of system integration, data modeling, and workflow automation.
Experience with UI/UX design principles for PowerApps applications.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile methodology and working in an Agile environment.
Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-200, PL-400) are a plus.
This role is onsite, and the ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for business process improvements and will work closely with a diverse range of teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.
