Wireless TAC Engineer Position Overview:

As a Wireless TAC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers by providing technical support and resolving complex issues related to wireless networking. You’ll become an expert in enterprise wireless and wired networks, contributing to the reliability and ease of use of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:
• Utilize your 2+ years of experience in a technical support role within a wireless networking or wireless security company (or equivalent education).
• Troubleshoot and configure wireless access points.
• Understand and work with Wi-Fi 802.11 networks.
• Triage and resolve customer support escalations from multiple inbound channels.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding response quality and timeliness.
• Network Management:
• Build and maintain layer 2/3 network testbeds.
• Reproduce customer issues and understand product features.
• File tickets for identified bugs.
• Analyze logs to pinpoint root causes.
• Collaborate with developers to drive solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Participate in relevant meetings and discussions.
• Provide status reports on ongoing tasks.
• Ask insightful questions to improve processes and customer experience.
  

Qualifications:

• Networking Knowledge:
• Familiarity with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.
• Understanding of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards.
• Juniper Router & Switch Certifications (a plus).
• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
