Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform and UI Development

· Design and develop internal web platforms, dashboards, portals and productivity tools for research analysts, dealers, operations, compliance and management teams.

· Build clean, responsive and intuitive interfaces including forms, data tables, filters, approval screens, charts, document viewers, search tools and management dashboards.

· Convert manual spreadsheets and fragmented processes into centralised applications with appropriate user roles, validations, audit trails and reporting.

· Maintain and enhance existing platforms based on user feedback, performance requirements and changing business needs.

2. AI-Assisted Engineering and LLM Integration

· Use ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code and similar AI development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, test generation, documentation and rapid prototyping.

· Integrate large language models through APIs to support structured extraction, intelligent search, summarisation, classification, report drafting and question-answering workflows.

· Design reliable prompts, reusable AI workflows, agentic processes and structured-output schemas with human-review controls.

· Review all AI-generated code and output for correctness, privacy, security, maintainability and alignment with business requirements.

3. Research Automation

· Automate collection, extraction, validation and presentation of information from annual reports, investor presentations, exchange filings, earnings releases, concall transcripts, PDFs and spreadsheets.

· Develop systems for result updates, KPI sheets, peer comparisons, financial-data trackers, research templates, sector databases and management reports.

· Build tools for monitoring corporate announcements, results, market developments and research inputs, with alerts and exception reporting where required.

· Reduce repetitive analyst work while preserving source traceability, data accuracy and mandatory review before publication or external circulation.

4. Business-Process Automation and Integrations

· Map existing workflows and identify opportunities to automate data entry, document processing, approvals, reconciliations, notifications, email communication and record maintenance.

· Develop integrations with databases, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, internal applications, cloud services and third-party APIs.

· Create scheduled and event-driven automations with logging, retry handling, exception queues and clear ownership for manual intervention.

· Ensure all automations comply with internal controls, confidentiality requirements and applicable securities-market processes.

5. Data, Document and Backend Engineering

· Build data pipelines to collect, clean, validate, transform and store structured and unstructured data.

· Design efficient database schemas and APIs for research content, financial data, bond quotes, client information, compliance records and operational workflows.

· Implement document-processing capabilities for PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, scanned documents and standard business templates.

· Maintain data lineage, version history, access controls and recoverability for business-critical information.

6. Testing, Deployment, Security and Maintenance

· Write and maintain unit, integration and user-acceptance tests; validate data outputs and edge cases before production deployment.

· Deploy and monitor applications using suitable cloud, server or container-based infrastructure, with backups and documented recovery procedures.

· Implement secure authentication, role-based access, secrets management, audit logs and controls for confidential or regulated information.

· Troubleshoot production issues, improve performance and reliability, and maintain technical documentation, repositories and change logs.

Required Qualifications and Technical Skills

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

· Strong hands-on programming ability in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with sound understanding of software design, debugging and version control.

· Experience building modern web applications using technologies such as React, Next.js, Angular or Vue, together with HTML and CSS.

· Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask, Node.js or equivalent, and development of secure REST APIs.

· Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server; familiarity with document or vector databases is useful.

· Practical experience using ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or comparable AI coding tools in real development workflows.

· Understanding of API integrations, authentication, data validation, testing, deployment and application security.

· Ability to independently translate business requirements into usable, maintainable and scalable technical solutions.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
