Role description:

At Arcadis IBI, we are seeking for a passionate and curious AI Engineer to join our technology team. This role is designed for recent graduates with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Programming. As an AI Engineer, you will contribute to developing, training, and deploying AI models under the guidance of senior team members, while gaining hands-on experience with real-world projects.

Role accountabilities:

• Data Preparation & Processing
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets for machine learning.
• Learn and apply preprocessing techniques such as normalization, feature extraction, and augmentation.
• Model Development
• Support in building and training ML/AI models using Python libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experiment with algorithms for supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning tasks.
• Model Evaluation & Optimization
• Help evaluate model accuracy, precision, recall, and other performance metrics.
• Learn to fine-tune hyperparameters and improve model performance.
• Deployment & Integration
• Work with the team to deploy AI models into production environments.
• Gain exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and APIs for integrating AI solutions.
• Research & Documentation
• Stay updated with the latest AI/ML research and trends.
• Document methodologies, code, and project learnings clearly for team reference.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Data Science/ ECE or related field.
• Strong foundation in Python programming and libraries for AI/ML (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, neural networks).
• Basic knowledge of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Familiarity with data handling (SQL/NoSQL databases) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
