AI Engineer

Overview

Xipper is a travel tech platform for hospitality in India.

We are looking for a candidate with strong hands-on skills in AI automation and complex workflow design to help us build and scale AI agents that power Xipper’s CRM, hotel booking operations, and guest interactions.

You will work closely with the product, backend, and operations teams to design intelligent, event-driven workflows that automate tasks like lead follow-ups, booking confirmations, guest queries, service requests, and operational alerts.

This role is ideal for someone who loves automation, AI agents, and solving real-world problems, not just writing models.

• Design and build AI agents to automate CRM and hotel booking workflows
• Implement multi-step, conditional workflows for: Guest onboarding & communication Booking lifecycle automation (pre-stay, in-stay, post-stay) Lead management & follow-ups Service request handling and escalation
• Build integrations with: CRM systems Booking engines / PMS Email, SMS, and notification systems Connect AI agents with internal APIs and databases
• AI & Prompt Engineering Develop effective prompt flows for task execution, decision-making, and summarization Optimize AI outputs for accuracy, context-awareness, and cost efficiency
• Monitoring & Optimization Continuously improve workflows based on logs, failure cases, and business outcomes Debug automation failures and edge cases Optimize response times and operational reliability

Must-Have
Recently graduated (B.Tech / B.E / BCA / MCA / BSc – CS, AI, Data, or related fields)

Strong understanding of:
AI automation concepts
Event-driven workflows & logic branching

Hands-on experience with at least one of:
Workflow tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, Pipedream, LangFlow, etc.)
AI agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, etc.)

Familiarity with:
REST APIs & Webhooks
JSON, async workflows

Basic programming skills in JavaScript or Python
