About the internship:
We're building Raj, an AI Chief of Staff that can reason, plan, and execute workflows while integrating across tools. Raj is already being tested by HNIs, VCs, and B2B clients. Now we're looking for an AI engineer who wants to build the full intelligence layer of the platform.
This is a high-ownership role where you'll work directly with the founder and take charge of agent reasoning, planning logic, memory systems, integrations, workflows, vector search, tools and API actions, data pipelines, caching, and performance.
This role is perfect for someone young, ambitious, and hungry to learn not someone who wants a slow corporate job. If you are the kind of engineer who learns new systems fast, enjoys building things that people use, and likes solving hard problems, you'll love this role.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
A. Build AI intelligence layer:
1. Reasoning agents.
2. Planning agents.
3. Structured task breakdown.
4. Role-based agent models.
5. Guardrails, memory, state machines.
B. Manage tool calling and integrations:
1. Integrate with Gmail.
2. Integrate with Google Sheets.
3. Integrate with Google Forms.
4. Integrate with Notion.
5. Integrate with APIs, browsers, and databases.
C. Develop vector memory and search:
1. Store embeddings.
2. Build hybrid search.
3. Connect vector DBs and search engines.
4. Build memory retrieval pipelines.
D. Handle realtime communication:
1. Queues.
2. Message passing.
3. Background jobs.
4. State persistence.
E. Work on system design (beginner-friendly, guidance provided):
1. Caching layers.
2. Data pipelines.
3. Multi-agent orchestration.
4. Workflow automation.

1. Strong Python or Node.js, experience building with LLM APIs, comfortable with Docker or willing to learn quickly, strong debugging skills, ability to learn new systems fast (mandatory)
2. Knowledge of or willingness to learn LangChain / LangGraph, CrewAI, multi-agent frameworks, agent memory, tool-calling, planning and reasoning patterns (good to have)
3. Exposure to or willingness to learn PostgreSQL, Redis, Pinecone / pgvector / any vector DB, Typesense or similar search tools (good to have)
4. Knowledge of or willingness to learn Redis Streams, Kafka / message queues, WebSockets, embeddings pipelines, rate limiters, workflow engines (bonus)
5. Someone who is 18–23 years old (preferred, not required)
