As we expand our AI-driven capabilities, we’re looking for a passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our Data Science & Engineering team and help us design the next generation of payment intelligence systems — from fraud detection to predictive analytics and personalized recommendations.
Role Overview
As an AI/ML Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy machine learning models to enhance fraud prevention, risk analytics, and customer experience across Payzen’s payment products. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and backend teams to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy production-grade ML models for fraud detection, transaction scoring, and behavioral analysis.

Build end-to-end ML pipelines — from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training and monitoring.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into large-scale distributed systems.

Evaluate and optimize model performance using real-time feedback loops and A/B testing.

Research and experiment with emerging AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, graph-based models) to enhance decision intelligence.
Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of experience in applied Machine Learning or Data Science roles.

Strong programming expertise in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).

Experience with ML pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow).

Proficiency in SQL, Spark, and AWS/GCP environments.

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical modeling.

Experience deploying models in production using Docker, Kubernetes, or FastAPI.

Familiarity with fraud detection, credit scoring, or financial risk models is a strong plus.
Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
