About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Android app developer to join our growing technology team. This role involves building next-generation applications in the physiotherapy and digital health space, integrating IoT devices, and delivering seamless user experiences on both mobile and tablet platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated to grow into a leadership role in app development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UI/UX collaboration: Participate in product and design discussions, bringing an understanding of physiotherapy user psychology to help shape intuitive and engaging interfaces.
2. Frontend development: Build and maintain Android applications in alignment with Figma designs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
3. IoT application development: Implement Bluetooth and Wi-Fi integrations to connect with wearable sensors and ensure smooth real-time data synchronization.
4. Data processing & analytics: Develop and optimize algorithms to derive actionable insights and meaningful metrics from raw sensor data.
5. API & Cloud integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services (Firebase, Crashlytics, cloud backends, etc.) to enhance functionality, performance, and reliability.
6. Gamification & interactive features: Embed interactive modules such as Unity or Kotlin-based games to enrich the user journey and encourage adherence.
7. Data management: Design and implement secure solutions for local data storage and cloud data synchronization.
8. Multi-device experience: Develop adaptive UI/UX layouts to optimize app usability across mobile and tablet screen sizes.

(The probation period will be 3 months at Rs 30,000 salary (negotiable) and then full time employment conversion will be offered at Rs 50,000 per month.)

Experience:

1. Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in Android app development with successful deployment of customer-facing apps.

2. Technical proficiency: Strong knowledge of Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi integrations, Firebase, API integration, and cloud backends.

3. IoT & data handling: Proven experience working with IoT devices, sensor data synchronization, and data visualization/analytics.

4. UI/UX understanding: Ability to collaborate with designers and translate Figma prototypes into production-ready applications.

5. Problem solving: Practical exposure to debugging, performance tuning, and crash analytics.

6. Growth orientation: Keen interest in advancing into a leadership role in app development and mentoring future team members.

7. Learning agility: Strong ability to quickly adopt and implement new frameworks, SDKs, and technologies.

8. Real-world exposure: Experience in gathering user feedback and iterating applications to meet real-world requirements and improve user satisfaction.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with Unity integration for gamified healthcare or wellness apps.

2. Familiarity with healthcare/physiotherapy digital solutions or regulated domains.
