About The Role

As an Android Developer, you'll be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing cutting-edge applications for the Android platform. You'll work on-site, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences. This is a crucial role for someone ready to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development : Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Feature Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) to define, design, and ship new features that meet user and business needs.
• API Integration : Work seamlessly with outside data sources and various APIs (RESTful) to integrate external services and data.
• Testing & Quality : Conduct comprehensive unit-testing of code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability, ensuring a stable application.
• Performance & Bug Fixing : Actively work on bug fixing and continuously improving application performance and responsiveness.
• Technology Adoption : Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and development methodologies to maximize development efficiency and enhance application capabilities.
  
  

Required Skills

• Programming Languages : Strong proficiency in both Kotlin and Java.
• Android Ecosystem : Extensive experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• APIs & Libraries : Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating various third-party libraries.
• Mobile Design : Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Performance & Storage : Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning to ensure smooth application operation.
• Cloud Messaging : Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Design Guidelines : Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Version Control : Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  
  

Experience & Education

• Overall Experience : 512 years.
• Minimum Relevant Experience : 5+ years in Android Development.
• Industry Experience : IT/Software Development.
