Android Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with prior experience in Flutter and Java to join our mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.
• Maintain and enhance cross-platform applications using Flutter.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging services.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs to improve application performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in mobile development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technology trends and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Android development using Java (Kotlin experience is a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in Flutter and Dart for cross-platform development.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, UI design principles, and Google’s Android design guidelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with state management approaches in Flutter (e.g., Bloc, Provider, Riverpod).
• Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of Jetpack components and modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Understanding of performance optimization and memory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
