Android Developer

Overview

We are seeking an Android Developer to join our dynamic team, responsible for the development and maintenance of multiple applications across a wide variety of Android devices. In this role, you will focus on building Android applications and seamlessly integrating them with back-end services. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and developers from various technical backgrounds, contributing to different layers of the infrastructure. A strong commitment to teamwork, effective communication, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality solutions is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, efficient code.

● Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

● Identify and resolve bottlenecks, and troubleshoot bugs.

● Develop user-facing features to build strong customer relationships.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other developers and backend engineers, to deliver product features aligned with team goals.

● Integrate and work with external software libraries and APIs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL SETS

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

● Proficiency in languages like Kotlin & Java

● Deep understanding of the Android SDK, familiarity with various Android versions.

● Familiar with architectures like MVP and MVVM

● Solid understanding of common programming tools such as version control, use of frameworks, and common design patterns

● Demonstrated expertise in the integration of third-party SDKs and efficient management of dependencies

● Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging APIs and the implementation of push notification systems.

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services

● Familiarity with cross platform frameworks like Flutter or Reactive native can be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
