Overview
- Application Development: Design and build advanced, reliable, and high-performance applications for the Android platform. This includes translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
- Code Quality and Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using best practices. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Bug Fixing and Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bugs, fix performance bottlenecks, and monitor the performance of live applications to ensure they are responsive and efficient.
- API Integration: Work with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services to integrate Android applications with backend services.
- Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols, and apply this knowledge to improve the user experience and app design.
- Testing: Write and execute unit and instrumentation tests to ensure the robustness, usability, and reliability of the application.
- App Lifecycle Management: Participate in the entire Android development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment on the Google Play Store.
