Android Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3–6 years of experience and a strong command over Kotlin to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications that offer a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST, JSON, etc.).
• Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and reliability.
• Fix bugs and improve application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Ensure app security and data protection best practices.

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a good understanding of Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and architectural patterns like MVVM.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with tools like Android Studio, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of Android architecture components (Room, LiveData, ViewModel).
• Exposure to testing frameworks like Espresso, JUnit, or Mockito.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with performance optimization and memory management.

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
