Role Overview
We are looking for an Android Developer with 1–3 years of professional experience who
can independently develop and maintain production-ready Android applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, MVVM architecture, XML UI
development, Android framework components, and production debugging. The candidate
should also have a strong understanding of application performance, clean code practices,
and modern Android development standards.

generate documentation, and assist in technical research. We expect engineers to critically
evaluate AI-generated solutions and apply strong engineering judgment before implementing
them in production.

Key Responsibilities
● Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin (100% Kotlin-first).
● Independently implement new features from requirement analysis to production
release.
● Build scalable applications using MVVM architecture with proper separation of UI,
ViewModel, UseCase, and Repository layers.
● Design and maintain XML-based UI using ConstraintLayout and Material Design
principles.
● Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, and Gson.
● Implement local storage using Room Database and DataStore where appropriate.
● Use Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming and proper thread
management.
● Debug production issues using Crashlytics, logs, and analytics.
● Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and technical discussions.
● Collaborate closely with QA, Backend, Product, and Design teams to deliver stable
releases.
● Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, Google Play policies, AI
advancements, and development best practices.
● Utilize AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Gemini, Cursor, ChatGPT,
or similar to improve development productivity, debugging, documentation, code
reviews, refactoring, and technical research.
● Validate, optimize, and review AI-generated code to ensure correctness,
performance, security, maintainability, and production readiness.
● Continuously explore emerging AI tools and recommend improvements to the team’s
engineering workflow.

Technical Requirements
● 1–3 years of professional Android development experience.
● Strong proficiency in Kotlin with null-safety, extension functions, Coroutines, Flow,
and StateFlow.
● Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and Clean Architecture principles.
● Experience with XML-based UI development using ConstraintLayout.
● Good knowledge of Android SDK components (Activities, Fragments, Services,
Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers).
● Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, and Gson.
● Hands-on experience with Room Database.
● Good understanding of Dependency Injection using Hilt.
● Strong understanding of Android lifecycle and configuration changes.
● Experience handling runtime permissions and background execution limitations.
● Good understanding of Git and version control workflows.
● Experience with Gradle build system, product flavors, and build variants.
● Familiarity with Firebase services such as Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, and
FCM.
● Understanding of Play Store release process and Google Play policies.

AI & Modern Development Practices
● Comfortable using AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Gemini, Cursor,
ChatGPT, or similar as part of the daily development workflow.
● Ability to write effective prompts for debugging, code generation, technical
documentation, architecture discussions, and problem-solving.
● Strong understanding of validating, optimizing, and improving AI-generated code
before production implementation.
● Ability to use AI responsibly while maintaining engineering best practices, security,
and code quality.

Good to Have
● Experience working on production applications with a large user base.
● Knowledge of application performance optimization and memory management.
● Experience debugging ANRs, crashes, and production issues.
● Understanding of Android security best practices and secure data storage.
● Basic knowledge of unit testing and debugging methodologies.
● Experience integrating AI APIs or LLM-powered features into Android applications.
● Passion for exploring emerging AI technologies and applying them to improve
software engineering productivity.
